I’m thinking I would have students write a piece early in the year, either a short script or maybe a public speaking piece, and then we’ll work together to apply a checklist to that piece. Then I can help the students set goals for their theatre writing based on that checklist, and as we move through the year use the checklist to help them assess their progress toward their goals. I already have students set goals for theatre class starting in 4th grade, so this could be a part of that. I’m hoping implementing something like this would also help keep me accountable for incorporating more writing into theatre class, which is something I’ve been trying to do.Hilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15935965638766203651noreply@blogger.com
