This past week I have been working in a school in Tennessee where I have worked for two years. Our goal was to create standards based classrooms. Here are some of the artifacts I look for when I do walks throughs. As you read through these descriptors and photos, please think about how standards based classrooms offer many opportunities for students to develop meta-cognition. Next week I will write Part 2.
